I have many reasons to enjoy my life: receiving your fabulous stories, making some interesting online friends and reading some fascinating blogs. There truly is a blog for every occasion. And I thought I’d seen it all when I found out this one. Adrian is a writer, a cartoonist and a scrabble fanatic (a game for which I have never quite ‘got’ the appeal). He has taken his bike to America and he is cycling from west coast to east, playing scrabble as he goes with a bunch of people that he has never met in his entire life but all of whom share his love for the boarded game.
These people are cooking for him, washing his clothes and they frequently throw in a packed lunch too. You don’t need to like scrabble to like this blog. The descriptions of what these wonderful people cook for his dinner alone keep me going. This is genius. Keep it up Adrian. I think I am enjoying your trip even more than you are.
Which segues clumsily into my next new find, although truth be told, he found me. American Mr Oh! wrote to tell me his virginity loss story and then slipped it into the conversation that he blogs too – about oral sex. Yes, you heard me. An entire blog dedicated to the highly respectable art of giving oral pleasure to a woman. What a guy. I wanted to know more about what inspired his dedication….
‘I merely took it as a challenge to do something that was beneficial to others while talking about something I was passionate about. Giving oral sex and having a girl appreciate the effort you put into it comes back tenfold, therefore, making the sex so much more amazing. Plus word got around pretty quick between friends, once ex girlfriends would tell their girlfriends, who would then tell their boyfriends, ‘Did you know Andrew was so good at that? Go talk to him!’ Which they did.’
Wowser. This is what true democracy is all about, the giving and receiving of, err, information. I shall refrain from pondering on what the latest republican puppet might think about Mr O!’s contribution to mankind, but hey, it makes a funny picture in your head doesn’t it? Instead, I shall let Mr Oh! continue with his own campaign…
‘On a side note, and something that I think is an important part of being successful at going down on a woman is the ability to empathize and care about your partner’s enjoyment. It isn't always about going down with the mentality that ‘I'm going to rock her world.’ It really needs to be from the perspective ‘I really want her to enjoy this with me.’ And this applies to any one night stand, a girlfriend, a wife, or a mere ‘friends with benefits’ scenario.’
I’ll say. This is a thinking man. You may or may not enjoy his subject matter but I think we can all appreciate the time and effort he puts into it. Some of us more than others. His latest post is inspired. In the meantime, here is the story of how twenty-three year old Mr Oh! parted company with his virginity:
Mr Oh! Aged twenty-three, from California.
‘Losing It, Part 1:
I wore a polka shell necklace with an emerald bead attached to it. I wore it so often that my buddies would joke by saying, ‘you've had that necklace as long as you've had your virginity!’ So needless to say, the bead became my ‘virginity’ bead.
When various girl friends’ parents would ask the significance or comment on the necklace and bead, I would tell them its meaning and boy did the Dad's love that one. Please do keep in mind that I am not a religious guy and had no intention of saving myself till marriage. It was more of an inside joke…
At the age of eighteen, I dated a twenty-six year old non-virgin and we got serious very quick. One thing led to another and we ended up playing ‘put the tip in.’ Not a good game when you're trying to be a virgin. In the end, without going all the way in and performing the act, I didn't feel as if we'd had sex.
The girl and I never did end up going the whole distance to the point where it felt like ‘sex.’ So I gave her the bead since it DID feel like losing my virginity. I kept the necklace and it became the ‘sex’ necklace.
Losing It, Part 2:
I later dated a woman, (every eighteen year olds dream - a high school teacher…not one of mine and I was already out of school), and we eventually had sex. It was the best experience I could ask for. She was patient, understanding, helpful, and experimental to a limit I was comfortable with.
We had a great run but ended up as friends and have kept in contact since. I am now twenty-three. I've had multiple partners, but have now been in a committed relationship for the past three years. The sex is great and I attribute that to the great amount of practice I've had over the years. And boy does it get better. More comfortable, more experimental, and definitely more pleasurable! Amen to sex. I sure love it. Specifically performing oral which I am a big fan of.’
